hey, you. thanks for being here. i love that you’re here. my name is jamie delaine. this blog holds words & photographs about my life & the people i have the joy of celebrating it with. i am a twenty-one year old girl from langley, bc, canada. i’ve been a blogger/photographer for over four years and have loved every moment of the journey. this blog has recently transitioned from a wedding photography blog to hey, here’s my life, love it or hate it blog. as part of this change, i chose a new name: desires of my heart – taken from one of my favourite scriptures in psalm 37:4. trust in the Lord & do good; dwell in the land & befriend faithfulness. delight yourself in the Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart. 

every day, i desire to delight myself in God’s love & watch as He blesses me with [& changes] the desires of my heart. i want to live my life with joy. i have an insatiable longing to write [& oddly enough, share openly] about my journey of mistakes & triumphs. so this is my heart. excited to grow as i share.
