Dorothy | 1-on-1 Session 01.01.2008 | learning sessions

I promised pretty pictures yesterday. And today, I shall deliver. Something I've been doing a lot of lately are teaching photographers 1-on-1 through my learning sessions I started to offer a few months ago. I only have one left for the year in December! It's been fun to meet new photographers and get a glimpse into their businesses now... and the dreams for their businesses in the future. Everybody has a unique vision and I love helping them find it!

Recently I had a session with Dorothy of Red Slippers Photography. I knew I loved this girl when she showed up in a shirt I-wish-I-had, TOMS shoes, a great red scarf and a wrist full of fun bracelets. Coupled with the fact that she goes to Generation Church and attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara last year? Pretty. Cool. Girl. Dorothy photographed forty seniors this year... FORTY! That's a lot of portrait sessions and she's just awesome. You must check out her blog and leave her some comments. I felt inspired while shooting this girl and loved what we captured together.

A little side note here: I recently added a discussion board to my facebook page and have begun to answer some questions on there, post about my favourite lens, et ceteraaa! If you'd like to be a part, hop-on the band wagon and join!
