sydney, australia

Jan 8

leanne and i have been in australia six days now, four spent in sydney & two spent in the southern highlands region [for roxy & diego's centennial vineyards wedding.] we are currently waiting to board a delayed flight to melbourne from sydney, where we’ll be hanging out for the rest of the week. for both leanne and i, we could not have enjoyed sydney more; it was the first city we’ve visited that we could see feeling like “home” …if it needed to be, of course. perhaps it was the bridge & harbours, reminiscent of vancouver, or maybe it was the church we worshipped with twice yesterday that reminded us of our own. but it is simply comfortable here. beautiful.

ps. we’ve made so many fun friends and connections over here this trip that i plan on coming back next year. planning to book up with portrait sessions and perhaps another wedding! so… email me, sydney. ;)

Great photos. I lived in Australia while I was a part of YWAM. It’s great to see the familiar landmarks. What beach is that, second to the last? Reminds me of the one in Newcastle. If you have a chance- you should stop by at a ywam base!
