I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
I am honestly in disbelief that Sunday is February 1st. This month has gone by in a blur! It’s crazy. As some of you may know, Randy quit his job in December and choose to take two and a half months off work before he returns to a new company. We had a goal of using that time for him to study (finishing up two certifications!) and also work on The School Sessions together. It’s been a packed full month. Somehow we thought life would slow down without his 6am-6pm job? Of course, it has, he’s home with me – but we’ve been filling up our days side by side at our laptops, doing everything we can to make The School Sessions successful.
In many ways it’s been the best crash-course in business – using whatever experience and connections I have made/gained over the last seven years of my company into promoting something we are uber passionate about. We’ve loved the challenge. Our days start early, we usually don’t shower until mid-afternoon and a lot of nights we return to our laptops after dinner to pound out a few more emails. But we are thrilled. Tired and thrilled – so rewarding to know our eyes-crossing-from-screens and fall-asleep-once-you-hit-the-pillow feelings are slowly raising money for ECCA school. (We also had a couple cool features this week: Huffington Post and F-Stoppers.)
All that being said, we are leaving on February 1st for over THREE weeks in New Zealand! We could NOT be more excited. We are road-tripping the whole dang country, pretty much tip to tip both the North and South Islands. We’ll be visiting 16 cities in 22 days/nights and we’re ready to start our adventure. Please be sure to check back in daily here – as I’ll be doing my best to share images as we go.
Happy February everyone! I’ll be off living Island life this month.
