Baby Session at Home

Little Scott Cameron, Jr.

I was really looking forward to meeting Scott (or “Scotty”) Jr., this week! It was such a fun afternoon seeing his parents, Scott and Jessica, again in December to photograph their winter maternity session. Back in December, they didn’t know if Scotty was going to be a boy or a girl, when he would be born and how much he would weigh. So many questions answered three months later… and he’s perfect. Two days after his due date, weighed *way too much* in Jessica’s opinion (10 and a half pounds!) and is the most beautiful little boy. Scotty is 8 weeks old here and did so well for his first official photo sessions. Slept peacefully for the first half, got real hungry (and being hungry will make anybody mad!) and after some milk, he was all smiles. Enough writing, let’s get onto the photos!

The sweetest little nursery space – painted a light “sky colour” blue for either gender… but it’s a perfect fit for the beautiful boy they had! Love the Winnie the Pooh theme and special touches Jessica and Scott chose. I also love their first picture together as a family in the operating room. So cute.

Baby lips!!

Starting to wake up…

And we got him back to sleep. It’s tough business being a baby!

I love this picture – Scotty was definitely still asleep but having happy dreams, I guess!

These blue blanket images turned out to be some of my favourites.

And one last family photo of the three of them to finish off the post!
