Comox Wedding Photographer

Denise and Fergus were married this past Saturday at the beautiful Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park with a reception at Crown Isle Resort and Golf in Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. My husband and I always love an excuse to return to Vancouver Island and the valley where he grew up and this weekend was no exception. :) Denise prepared for the wedding day with her mother and mother-in-law at Hairpins salon in Courtenay before dressing with her 7 bridesmaids back at Crown Isle Resort.

I loved all of the details Denise had prepared for her wedding day! From her Maggie Sottero dress with a jewel-flower belt from BHLDN and Kate Spade jewellery, to the bridesmaids gorgeous grey Jenny Yoo dresses… everything was a dream to photograph! Denise looked stunning and I loved photographing the final preparations before we traveled to Filberg for the First Look.

Denise and Fergus met through Cadets at the Navy base in Comox, BC. They had mutual friends as both had been involved in summer camps for years and years. Naturally, we had to make time to travel to the base for some portraits! It was neat how much history was on the base for them – I was glad to capture those memories for them on their wedding day!
