Elaine and Hason’s wedding day was amazing. I was able to be there for every single part of the day: truly from start to finish: 6:30am to 10:15pm! A record for me! From the Door Games at Elaine’s house in the morning, to the tea ceremony and wedding ceremony at Hycroft Manor, University Women’s Club, lots of time for portraits at both Hycroft and the reception venue, The Vancouver Club the day was a dream!
Seriously, Elaine & Hason thought of every possible thing leading up to their celebration. It was planned incredibly well – every person in the wedding party had their job and everything ran like clockwork!
Scroll on to see photos and read some of my words in between certain parts of the day! Enjoy!

After an intense round of Door Games, Hason was allowed to get his bride who was waiting upstairs with her mom! Haha! I love this photo of them walking down to the tea ceremony.
After the tea ceremony, it was onto Hycroft Manor for the second tea ceremony and the wedding ceremony. It’s such a beautiful property!
Elaine got ready for the ceremony in one of Hycroft Manor’s many elegant rooms. Her dress was amazing!
Is there a prettier space for a ceremony? Love this.
How happy do they both look!? Close photos during the ceremony are some of my very favourite.
A happy, easy-going, totally-there-for-their-friends kind of wedding party is my favourite! Loved this bunch!
I’m always in photography heaven in the yellow room at Hycroft.
Despite the smoky haze over the city, we made the best of one of my favourite spots for photos in Vancouver.
The ballroom at Vancouver Club is stunning. The most elegant, sophisticated space in the city, if you ask me! And Elaine had chosen the perfect details.
I didn’t have enough room to include all of Elaine’s dresses, but this was dress number 4 for the day!
Beautiful dress #5!
And a twirling-filled First Dance in Dress #6!
Elaine & Hason, your day was so much fun. I couldn’t believe how fast all of those hours together actually sped by. You two are easy to be around, and we loved meeting your friends and family! Enjoy your images!
