Kwomais Point Park Wedding

I had the honour of being a part of Debbie & Kevin’s intimate ceremony at Kwomais Point Park in Surrey yesterday afternoon. Debbie prepared for the afternoon celebration at a nearby AirBNB with her two sisters & lots of other family members around! Love how Kevin and the boys got ready in the same house as well — but Kevin and Debbie didn’t see one another until they signed the Ketubah minutes before walking down the aisle together.

This was my first time photographing a Jewish wedding ceremony and I really enjoyed photographing the traditions. Instead of the bride circling the groom seven times when she enters the ceremony, Debbie circled Kevin 3x, Kevin circled Debbie 3x, and then they made a circle together under the chuppah. It was beautiful. When the Rabbi sung prayers in Hebrew, you could see how much the words meant to Debbie through her happy tears.

Debbie & Kevin, thank you for having me as your photographer!! All the best to you.
