Two years ago, Andrea and Ian met online! They texted for a bit before meeting up and Andrea doesn’t remember being too impressed… Ian wasn’t (and still isn’t) a text kind of guy. Haha! But Andrea & Ian met in person for their first date at Earl’s on Robson, they talked for hours. It was a great connection and the two knew quickly, this would be their forever. :)

After a year and a half of dating, Ian wanted to seal the deal. He bought a ring, asked Andrea’s father for permission to marry his daughter, and then had to wait for three weeks straight for a non-rainy February day to propose! (Isn’t that such a Vancouver story? Haha!)

I’m so glad Andrea & Ian found out about my work from their beautiful venue, Westwood Plateau, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next summer! Enjoy their sunset engagement photos!
