June is here and it’s officially wedding season in Vancouver! It was so lovely to be a part of Kelsey & Kennedy’s celebration this past weekend at Shaughnessy Restaurant in Van Dusen Botanical Garden.

Kelsey and Kennedy live in Toronto, where they recently bought a house together, but they both have Vancouver-roots. Kennedy was raised in Vancouver (and moved to Ontario for work) and although Kelsey grew up in Ontario, her parents were from Vancouver so her family made lots of trips “home” throughout her childhood. When they got engaged, Vancouver felt like the perfect city for them to say “I Do,” surrounded by extended family and friends.

Last Summer, we had a lovely sunny evening for Kelsey & Kennedy’s engagement session at Jericho Beach–and the sun must love these two, because we had another beautiful afternoon for their wedding photos! Kelsey & Kennedy arranged photography permits for Van Dusen Botanical Garden, and it was a treat to photograph in the Rose Garden!
