Vancouver Portrait Photography : Stobbe Family
A perfect summer evening. Soft sunshine at seven o’ clock in the evening. The gentle waves of the Pacific Ocean. Couples and families and runners out on the pier. I sat on a park bench at the edge of the ocean and took it all in. A couple of minutes later, this beautiful family, the Stobbes, arrived looking very cute and ready to be photographed.
I had met the two sweet little boys and their mother Gemma at the BabyBoo photoshoot a few weeks back. (Side Note: The BabyBoo site has officially launched!) However, it was my first time meeting Gemma’s husband Dale and her mother Marlene. Gemma and her mother are both from Ireland and Marlene is in Canada visiting for the month! The shoot was halfway through her visit and I’m so glad I could capture the whole family together.
The interaction in this one is really sweet.

I always love capturing photos of couples. Of course it’s nice to have photos of your kids and you, I think it’s a shame that most couples don’t have professional photos of just them except for their wedding day! Love this of Gemma and Dale.

I had to comment on this post (I know it’s an older one) but you made a comment in the bog that I 100% agree with, about how it’s a shame couples don’t get photos by themselves other then their wedding day… It is my current goal to have a session done of my boyfriend and me! :-) Anyways… you have a great blog and I enjoy seeing all of your amaxing shots.
