Vancouver Portrait Photography : Scott + Aubyn + Evelynn
Scott and Aubyn are quite possibly two of my favourite people of all time. That I’ve ever met. In my whole life. & I mean that! I met them close to five years ago now, when we started attending Southgate Church. Scott and Aubyn were the youth pastors there. I remember the very first bible study I went to, Aubyn was one of the leaders. She had just received her wedding pictures and we were looking through all of them, smiling like 13 and 14-year-old girls do.
They’ve served faithfully as youth pastors for the last five years (Scott was the youth pastor three years before he married Aubyn, so it’s been eight years total for him!) I’ve loved being under their leadership the last year as I’ve moved into a “Youth-Leader-In-Training” position. This couple has blessed so many lives, I can’t even begin to count. God has been planting a vision in Scott’s heart for quite a few years about planting a church in downtown Vancouver. They’ve decided now is the time to move! The first step is that they are moving to London for 6 months, to stay with Aubyn’s parents who live there. Scott will be attending school to work towards his Masters. They’ll be back here next year to see where God would lead them inside Vancouver city limits.
I’m going to miss them and their daughter Evelynn so much, but I know God has some amazing things in store for them! I wanted to bless them with a family session before they left on their next life adventure. If you have a minute, check out Scott and Aubyn’s Maternity photos I took back in October. Isn’t God ridiculously amazing that He formed Evelynn and placed her inside Aubyn’s stomach for nine months? CRAZY!
This family is super photogenic. I’m so excited to watch their family grow in size over the years! Maybe it’s the fact that there is all this empty space on the other side of Aubyn… I think they could fit 3 more kids in this photo. ;)

Cuteness overload with these! And it’s official, I want to compare iPods with you. I was SO pumped to hear City and Colour on this slideshow! I have been a MAJOR fan of Dallas Green’s since my guitar instructor introduced me to him last fall. I think he’s a Canadian gem (kind of like Ryan Gosling – HA!)
