Vancouver Portrait Photography : Stacee Lianna
Today is the final day of the internship. Technically, yesterday was the last day and today is just the airport drop-off day. SAD! We already had to drop off Heather, the local intern, last night and Stacee and Marissa are leaving this afternoon. Entire intern week re-cap coming soon with a crazy long slideshow and such, but I still have Stacee‘s bio shoot left to blog! I picked Stacee up at the airport with Marissa last Tuesday and I loved her as soon as I met her. She has the sweetest personality: shy in a lot of aspects, but she can get a little crazy if we push her to. ;)
Stacee has worked at the local library for the past three years and has decided in the last year to pursue photography professionally. That’s where I come in! We’ve been nailing down her brand (I love her ideas!) and she’s beginning to work on a Showit Site. Yay! How exciting, I can’t wait for it to be done. Something else I love about Stacee’s personality is her humility: she has a very hard time accepting a compliment. While I was shooting I was freaking out at how amazing her eyes were. The only response she could give was, “Ohhhhh… Okay.” Well, by the end of the week, I think I had her saying “Thank you” 80% of the time. SUCCESS! I’m so talented.
Check out Stacee’s new blog and leave her some comments. As well, I persuaded Marissa and Stacee to sign up for twitter, because I fully believe photographers should be taking hold of this micro-blogging thing. So if you’re not on it, get on twitter already. Or I’ll make you.
Her hair colour with this background was ridiculous. Love the contrast.

Helloooooo!

Nothing like shooting in full-day sun: we worked it out and threw in a harsh-lighting lesson too.

This is the amazing eye shot I was talking about!

I love her laugh.

Oh sun, you’re so hot, but you make beautiful photos.

Get in touch with Jamie or view her online portfolio.

I can imagine how tortured Stacee felt, especially after seeing this last photo of *multiple* cameras pointed in her direction, but these are all so BEAUTIFUL! I hope she comes to feel as comfortable in front of the camera as she does behind it because she takes stunning pictures! =D
not fair when people have such silky smooth hair! ;)
AHH LOVE IT!…. I A-D-O-R-E the shoe shot. Gorgeous!
Soooo funny story – my dad said he saw ‘a family or something’ shooting on our road the other day – and I’m pretty sure it was you guys! :D
Love these! She definitely has gorgeous eyes! By the way, I totally have those exact same shoes. haha! random observation. :)
Gorgeous, Jamie! I LOVE them, she looks terrific in each of these! Love your new header as well, looks brilliant!
