Commercial Drive Portraits: Annie and Spencer
I feel like I know these two… in the way that the internet can make you feel like you know someone. Oh the age of facebook: looking at photos, reading notes about life’s ups and downs, following Annie’s statuses. I just can’t help it, Annie and Spencer are too adorable for words. The truth is in the photos. Annie is a wonderful friend of my friend Jess Janz. We somehow kept seeing each other on Jess’ facebook, became facebook friends, met at one of Jess’ concerts quickly & have kept in touch off and on through facebook.
Annie and her husband Spencer have been through a whirlwind the past two years. Their relationship and marriage has been a blessing to both of them in more ways than they could ever count, I’m sure. God knew. God knew what their lives held. The trials that would shock them and the earthquake that would attempt to shake their foundation. Annie and Spencer met as teeangers, dated long-distance (“Thank you, MSN Messenger,” Annie smiles,) Spencer moved to Vancouver to pursue Annie (“Long distance… yeah, that wasn’t working”) & they married about two years ago.
A young couple, so in love with each other and in love with God for having brought them together. Only a couple of months after they tied the knot, Spencer was diagnosed with cancer. They’ve been through a long battle since then, but Spencer’s doing well. Strong and healthy and fighting. God has a plan. I just look at His timing and smile. He knew. He knew they needed each other, He knew they needed their love and their marriage to fight this together. Oh, how He loves us. Spencer and Annie, thank you for being two beautiful, adorable & willing models for the interns & I. For the love you continue to shine to everyone you meet, thank you, again.

Oh gosh. They’re perfect.

This may sound weird y’all, but, they kiss prettily. That’s rare. Cute people don’t always kiss cute. It’s just a fact.

Ooooh Annie.

Yup. Like this.
