Definitely Wasn’t That Girl

Sep 14

I did it again, folks. Here one minute, gone the next. On Saturday I shot Michelle & Mitch’s beautiful thirteen-hour wedding at Hycroft Manor and at six o’ clock Sunday morning I was up and in the car! My Dad and I drove to Seattle, to then fly to Boston through Phoenix. Or perhaps find out there was a medical emergency and the flight to Phoenix no longer exists. So we may fly through Philadelphia, but oh no, wait, that one’s filled. Alright, we’ll just route you through Charlotte four hours from now. Airports are craziness, but we made it here (Boston) last night around midnight!

I don’t even remember yesterday. I was so tired. Oh, not like you’d ever guess it or anything. I definitely wasn’t that girl with her frizzy-hair-back-in-a-braid (pretty much a direct code for: too tired/lazy to do her hair that morning) with not-a-stich of makeup, yoga pants on (an essential item for fat airplane days–can I get an amen, ladies?) and a big pink American Eagle hoodie. No, that wasn’t me. I was the chick in four-inch heels, a pencil skirt and a tight blouse. HAH! That’ll be the day. I really wish I could dress like that in airports, but sheesh, it’s a big enough hassle just balancing two bags and a purse while wearing my plaid Sperry’s, let alone heels.

The important thing is, I’m HERE! And I’m excited. I love this city and I can’t wait to get out and see more of it. Some great posts coming soon, but I’m just a litttttle behind with everything in my life lately. Thanks for your patience! Oh and this would just be me, nearing the end of Saturday’s wedding and still lookin’ pretty chipper. Just how I roll.
