Here we go! The blog post about Lisa & Tim’s wedding that took place the day after their engagement session is coming at ya. My assistant and I had just as much fun on Day 2 as we did on Day 1 of this event-filled weekend. Lisa graciously invited me to stay at her house the night before the wedding which was a blast. Seriously crazy to see all the behind-the-scenes details that go into making a day like Lisa & Tiim’s so wonderful. The poor bridesmaids and Lisa were up until midnight running around with final details to ensure the day would be flawless. And despite a complete downpouring of rain, it was.
Lisa has this infectious smile that overtakes her whole face: kinda like mine. I love that. Her joy on her wedding day was so completely evident and I loved watching her and Tim interact. They truly truly have found their love. It was a literal downpour in Nanaimo, BC but Lisa and Tim didn’t seem to care one bit. They were serious troopers as we walked throughout the small little downtown of this city and snapped away. To a girl who loves rain… this wedding holds a place deep in my heart! I love love love what we captured and just love love. and love in the rain. Ohh Tim & Lisa, enjoy PARIS and the rest of your lives together! Love, Me.
Lisa & Tim are honeymooning in Paris right now, so it only made sense for me to photograph details next to the Eiffel Tower.
There’s that laugh I was talking about. Just love her.
A prayer before the beginning of the ceremony. So powerful.
One of my favourite things in wedding ceremonies is when there is a worship service. Such a time of rejoicing, it always makes me think of just how incredibly-jump-up-and-down-happy I will be and how blessed by the Lord I will feel on my wedding day.
Marrieeeed!
Used book store? YES PLEASE. I’ve always dreamed of shooting in one.
At this time I think Tim was saying, “Oh! Look at that there! Oh, wouldn’t you know?! Look at that! And that!” Hahah!
Lisa & Tim had picked out all these great spots around Nanaimo in little bakeries and cafes. Totally loved it.
Work it out.
Are you kidding me? This is great.
Fan.
Loved the black shoes!
Lisa and Tim took us to this AMAZING bluff right near their reception at Fairwinds Golf Course that was simply stunning. Wow. I wish you could have seen the view behind them!
