Bellingham Portraits: Lacey

Dec 7

I was blown away by all of your sweet comments on my Bellingham post. I seriously opened up my blog editor and just began to type what I did that day because I wasn’t feeling too creative. Haha! I guess my blunt, this-is-what-I’m-thinking-and-feeling-as-I-saw-things writing style is liked by a few of you? Amazes me! And definitely made me smile. I promised something in that post… portraits of my cousin Lacey coming soon to the blog. Soon is now, folks, soon is now.

I posted the first photo below on my facebook fan page, and immediately Lacey starts writing on my wall, “Soooo… where are they???? the magazines have been calling me. They need the photos in on the asap.” I told her to hold her horses. Not really an applicable phrase any more, but Lace grew up on a farm and probably held a lot of horses back in the day. She responded, “I just love them okay. I just stinkin love them and I want MORE!!! just like I want more of you. I like you. You’re nice. Oh Mallard.” – referring to my yellow boots. Lacey, lacey, lacey. She’s a nutball and that is why we get along so well.

Lacey and I are very similar to each other in a lot of ways though we’re six years apart. Just had to throw that in there. ;) We work incredibly hard for our young little ages, both have successful businesses, believe in setting big goals and we know how to have fun. A lot of it. Lacey is a realtor, and if you are buying/selling a house in the Langley area you should probably call her.

I love you Laceyyy! Thanks for the fun day.

I really really love this one below.

The light seriously doesn’t get any better than this. Though a little warmer would have been nice.

Enough prettiness. This is the true Lace. ;)

I like 5, 6 and the last one best. I don’t always go just for smiles, but I like the lighting, although I might have cropped 5 differently, not sure without trying. LOL Completely amazing photos as always, and Lacey is gorgeous… even in the last photo.
