Fort Langley Portraits: Abigail Smith
I really deserve an award. For the slowest blogger EVER. Usually I’m so great with getting shoots on the blog right away, but this one? Not so much. My lovely friend and fellow photographer Abigail Smith came to visit and second-shoot a wedding with me (Lisa and Tim) in October and of course, we did a photoshoot of each other a well.
Abby is brilliant in front of the camera, simply brilliant. She’s also a fabulous make-up artist and even did my makeup for our shoot! That was fun. I think that was only the second time I’ve had my makeup done “professionally” and what a difference it makes to the photos. Abby has one of the softest, sweetest, most compassionate hearts I’ve ever met. She has this amazing ability to listen. I always feel so listened to when I talk to her. She is one of five children and although I’ve only met two of her four brothers, her family is every ounce as sweet as she. Oh Abby! I miss you!
P.S. Looking at these photos again, I’m secretly glad I waited three months to blog them. Isn’t Autumn THEE most beautiful thing? Autumn has my heart. And my love. And I’d like it to just last forever and ever and ever and I would walk around in a happy little glow kicking up orange leaves with my brown boots. Is it September yet? :)

These are SO awesome, Jamie!! She’s so pretty, and I love all her outfits! :) I think my favourite one is the one of her walking down the sidewalk. She’s rockin’ it like a catwalk! :)
