Langley Engagement Photos: Lacey and Tim
“Hello Jamie Delaine. My number is ###-####. And my detail message is that, I love you.–And I love you too! Even though I’ve never met you!–Tim loves you too. We both love you. And we’re getting married. Jamie, I’m getting married. And I love you. And call me. Because I’m getting married.”
That was the voicemail a received a few days ago. Is that NOT one of the best voicemails to receive ever? Ahh! Lacey lacey lacey is marrying this man named Tim. And they are beautiful together. And she’s so excited. I was talking to her on the phone yesterday and she kept interrupting me saying, “I love him. I really really love him. And I’m marrying him. I’m marrying this man. I’mso happy. And you should see my ring. It’s perfect. You should see my bling. I love him. I really really love him.” So wonderful.
We met for some impromptu engagement photos quickly this afternoon at Lacey’s home. They are busy rushing around looking at wedding venues this week trying to nail down a wedding date for May or June. I’m praying with all my might that I can even attend the wedding… my schedule is so impossibly full. :( I’d hate to miss it! We shot these just to celebrate with all the Christmas decor and such but there will be a full engagement session in the months to come. Enjoy!
P.S. I wish I had the whole proposal story to tell, but I do not! I do know, however, that it started in the early morning, ended at midnight, had her flying in a plane to Vancouver Island and ending up at one of the most beautiful homes you’ve ever seen. Tim borrowed furniture from a bunch of places and her house is now covered with flowers left over from the proposal. Also, each letter throughout the day was tea-stained and torn at the edges. Are you kidding me?! That’s so adorable. Reminds me of an elementary school project. That burning the edges thing gets tricky! Tim, you did well. Can’t wait for you to become husband and wife!!
