jadon is the brother of my dear, dear friend jenessa. i love this whole family a ton… and my beautiful friend jazzy [jasper!] is about to join them. jazzy & jadon are a wonderful couple: such a heart for the Lord, hard-working in all they do. they both attend the same church as i in langley and when i heard the rumblings of engagement [behind the scenes of course… remember, i’m close with jenessa!] i knew i wanted to photograph them. these two have been dating for over two years now and are making it forever on july 17, 2011.

i love the beginning. the beginning is exciting. yesterday, i met jazz & jadon at their soon-to-be cottage. they found this great place that sits on a beautiful acreage in the abbotsford/aldergrove countryside. it’s a beautiful home with all the space they need, including a farm that makes jazzy feel right at home. it’s the perfect place to start their life together. jadon describes jazzy as “cow-girl rocker,” and she really is. two opposites in one jazzy. jazzy is oh-so-musical and a woman of so many talents. jadon is the sweetest guy & watching their relationship grow over the past year has been beautiful–i love how they’ve walked out their dating years so far. jazzy’s ring is a favourite! i tried to include a few shots in here for you all to see. it’s incredibly different: jazzy doesn’t like typical!

after the session yesterday, jazzy & jadon were going to attempt to pick up jazzy’s horse at a stable in langley & move her to their new place. jadon knows how to drive trailors… but without horses. jazzy knows how to handle horses. so, they were fairly confident. just drive the trailor like it doesn’t have a horse, right? hope that turned out for ya! hah! ;) i’m soooo excited to show these photos–something about capturing two people in a place that means so much to them is awesome. i love that their engagement photos are in their first place together: i wish i could be there with mr. & mrs. jadon peters on july 17th [but i’m working!]– i know they’ll have a beautiful wedding in the great outdoors. enjoy!
