I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
“all of the details for the wedding were coming together perfectly… all the details but damara’s hairstyle,” goetz remembered with a smile, “i listened to her indecisiveness for a few days until i recalled the theme of our wedding. i advised her to tell the stylist: french country, shabby chic, anything goes!–the phrase damara repeated whenever she presented another thrift store find for yet another reception table.” the hundred and fifty guests at the fort langley community hall burst into joyous laughter as the groom leaned over the podium in laughter himself. thankfully, damara did not request a “shabby chic, anything goes” hairstyle but rather a beautiful, side-swept low up-do that complemented her features perfectly. ;)
two years ago, i photographed nathan & paula’s wedding on the sunshine coast. it was my first year and my very first summer photographing weddings. it was a celebration full of some amazing italian food, great ocean views and laughs. i remember this couple dancing on the dance floor at the end of the day, she had gorgeous long blonde hair and he probably had a tie wrapped around his head. ;) he says that’s his specialty. the couple was ashley & jon, and jon is nathan’s brother.
the day after elizabeth & adam & mary’s family session in old montreal, i met up with elizabeth’s photography friend kim + her husband dave for some photos in the same area. i absolutely love the streets of old montreal. kim, like elizabeth, is a photographer from ottawa–elizabeth passed the word on that i was comin’ to montreal and they both made the drive out on separate days to be photographed. kim & dave are such a sweet couple; they’ve been married for three years as of august and wanted some professional photos to celebrate that fact. we had some gorgeous, gorgeous sunlight to work with in the late afternoon. loved walking around the cobblestone streets with these two for an hour capturing their good looks. ;) enjoy you two and thank you once again for driving all those hours to meet me! appreciated more than you know. check out kim’s blog here.
there are two things i love doing in a new city. photographing & running. running through the downtown of a city feels like the best way to see it to me. someday i want to take one of those super geeky running tours–that’d be rad. so that’s always something i try to do when i visit. another thing i love is photographing in the city. photographing people in the city is even better! when i threw out a few tweets & facebook updates about being in montreal [and available for work] this past week, i was delighted to book two portrait sessions.
