Brittany & Danny’s first conversation happened in 2009, in the cafeteria line at Trinity Western University. Upon hearing that they were out of chicken, Danny leaned over to the blonde in front of him to ask what he should order in his wrap instead. Brittany responded, Turkey and bacon together! Just as good as the chicken. A simple conversation, replayed by Brittany to her friends later that day. For a few days, Brittany called Danny the “hot cafeteria boy” [or a similar wording to the same effect, can’t remember the exact phrase!] — until she made the connection. Danny played on the university basketball team. Brittany had been to his games. She noticed Danny as “the best looking guy on the team.” Of course, the cafeteria interaction had become her second impression: “he was funny, and again… very good looking.”

Agnes & Jerry were married on a very, very rainy October Vancouver day. Agnes got ready at her parent’s home and Jerry arrive mid-morning for their small Chinese tea ceremony. After a treacherous walk to the limo with their bridal party [seriously, the rain that morning!] we safely arrived at St. Francis Xavier Church for an afternoon ceremony. Olympic Village treated us right and the skies stopped pouring for a blissful half hour of overcast portraits before their Kirin Restaurant Banquet. Congrats, you two!

Maritza & Steven met while working at TD Canada two years ago. Although Maritza was raised in Vancouver, Steven was new to the city. Maritza wrote “One of the biggest impressions [Steven] left on me was his calm, friendly and genuine interest in speaking with all of his clients, particularly the elderly. He spoke to each person as if they were his long time friend, and I liked the attention to detail he had during those moments with them.” Maritza was impressed — and after a few months, their office friendship blossomed into a relationship.

Rebecca & Kenneth met at church while serving on the worship team. Kenneth plays the guitar and Rebecca plays piano — and their individual servant hearts caught the other’s eye. Kenneth writes he met Rebecca during one of hardest, “desert” times of his life — and the “angel” he met is becoming his lovely bride next August. These two love camping, love being outdoors, love the ocean and have a great sense of style. Rebecca was on-the-ball when it came to engagement session planning and had a bunch of ideas. Isn’t their last outfit divine? Loved her white BCBG dress! Very excited for their sweet, outdoor farm wedding next year in Langley.
