I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
Do one thing a day that scares you.
I see it in artsy, scripty fonts all over Pinterest. I see it plastered on the side of LuluLemon bags. I’d bet $10 I could find a self-help book titled just that. But doing things outside of our comfort zone is scary. Even if we are the only ones pushing ourselves. I try to live like that. Being challenged with daunting, nerve-wracking tasks, as often as possible.
In an effort to become a more consistent (and diversified) blogger, I’m launching a few new series over December and January. (The new year will bring a new blog design, too!) I’ve decided to keep things simple. “Recently Read” will include a brief summary of a book (whether it be fiction or non!) and my overall rating. Hopefully, it’ll be a fun way for me to catalogue what I’ve read/enjoyed–and also, a place for my readers to discover new titles.
One of the weddings that stands out from this summer is Gloria and Roy’s. These two were married in Hong Kong in March… but wanted to have another celebration with Vancouver friends and family unable to make the long trip to HK. They celebrated on Saturday, June 23rd, with a lunch reception at the Stanley Park Tea House. During their closing thank-you speech, Roy announced that Gloria was 3 months pregnant. [Earlier that morning, as Gloria squeezed into her Anthropologie wedding dress, she told me the news!]
Johnny and Anette met four years ago, through a mutual friend. They hit it off the first night they met and started dating shortly after. Next July, these two are becoming husband and wife. I was thrilled the rain held off for their engagement session last Friday in Vancouver… and love how moody some of these images feel with the overcast skies!
