I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
Last month at Revolution Movement (youth and young adults of CLA) we were working through a series called High 5. Five weeks, every week consisting of five speakers with five minutes to speak on a given topic. Acts 2 was our main scripture, focusing on the five things the early church devoted themselves to. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers… And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.”
I drove to Steveston yesterday morning to meet and photograph two-week-old baby Noah. His parents are Claire and Wes, long-time clients of mine. In fact, Claire and Wes are the first very couple to hire me to photograph not only their engagement, but their wedding, their maternity & now, their newborn photos. At the end of their Steveston maternity session, Claire inquired about newborn photos. As a wedding photographer, she wondered if I was into family photos — or if I knew a photographer who was. I said I would love to.
My aunt is a very talented interior decorator – and I was excited to capture her biggest project to date. A 6,000 square foot home in Surrey – every room of the 6 bed, 6 bath home was designed and furnished by Lyla. What a massive undertaking for a one-woman design firm! ;) Lyla was also recently honoured by the Canadian Decorators’ Association for her work in the family room pictured above. She was given awarded “Bronze Award for Decorating over $20,000” (total budget of the room) in Toronto last month. I love her work a lot.
