I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
While Randy and I were home visiting Courtenay on Vancouver Island this past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing a fun family session! I’m loving family shoots more and more. Add a farm property, a dirt road, some beautiful light (these were shot at 9am!) and I’m a happy girl. Will and Heather are the parents of these beautiful kids. Kendall and Chelsea are married with kids of their own now! Emma, Hardy and Izzy had personality for days. Everybody was happy, cheery, basically… my job was easy!
Sarah and Abdul were married on August 24th at Brix Restaurant, a couple weeks over four years ago since they first met. A casual summer evening dinner with mutual friends changed the course of Sarah and Abdul’s lives forever. I loved hearing more about the story of these two scattered throughout their ceremony and reception. Abdul was smitten with Sarah from day one, claiming she was one of the most beautiful, smartest women he had ever encountered. When he worked up the courage to ask for Sarah’s number a week after their first meeting, they shared their first date at Rodney’s Oyster House in Yaletown. (You’ll see portraits from Rodney’s below! It’s only a block away from their venue.)
In the midst of complete craziness this August (7 weddings to shoot, moving homes) Randy and I have managed to squeeze in a lot of fun, as well. We knew it would be our “busiest” month on the books and we were determined to make the best of the situation and the crazy double-header wedding weekends. I’m so thankful for a husband who supports my work and loves what I do.
One of the coolest things about my business is meeting new brides and grooms every season and becoming a part of their wedding days. I met Lesley and her husband Adam in a Starbucks probably, oh, six years ago now. Their fifth anniversary was this past June and they have a beautiful baby girl named Isla now. Life moves incredibly fast! Lesley and Adam have had a special place in my heart since I booked their engagement and wedding photos. They even starred in my first promo video. Lesley Stefanski is an incredible businesswoman and I’ve loved following her blog over the years. She’s a fantastic life/business coach and recently started blogging an “Inspiring Women Series” weekly. I was honoured to be featured as the first “Inspiring Woman!” If you’d like to check out the feature, you can find that here.
