I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
I have been so incredibly excited to photograph Maria and Tim since Maria emailed about her “someday” wedding almost one year ago. Maria and Tim had started dating three months before… and she knew this was the real deal. When I searched through my inbox for the specific details to write this story, I had to laugh. I’m definitely guilty of texting my dream videographers three months into dating (not engaged!) and asking about availability. It’s sooo fun and wonderful that Maria has been reading my blog for years and years! It was like meeting an old friend when I met up with them on the weekend.
Ohhh, this week away in Nashville together was such a gift. Nashville is a pretty special city to me. During my “single years” (between the ages of 18 and 22, hahah!) my career allowed me the freedom to travel a lot. I was constantly on the go (not we live that slowly now! ;)) and there were two cities in particular I returned to many years in a row: Nashville and Montreal. (My urban taste is diverse, apparently.) During the winter–my photography off-season–it was in both these cities I visited friends while also spending time alone, reading, dreaming, journalling, wondering about what the future would hold.
Happy nine days until Christmas! This month (and this year) has simply flown by! It was crazy to be out of town for the first two weeks of December spending time in Nashville. (I’ll blog a bit of our trip soon!) When we got home Sunday it was full-on errands, cooking, cleaning, house prep, party planning, Christmas tree decorating, back-to-working!
