Our Love Story
When I asked Kristine and Oliver to name some of the things that make them unique as a couple, I loved the answers they gave! First of all – they both are immigrants to Canada, Kristine from the Philippines and Oliver from England. Both moved to Canada with their families a handful of years ago. They both attended Vancouver Film School for Video Game Design but weren’t in any of the same classes (Oliver was finishing his studies while Kristine started hers.) After graduating school, Kristine got a job at the same company Oliver happened to work for! Over the last three or four years, Kristine and Oliver have worked together in various capacities and on huge projects as a team.
I’ve known Rachael for years now – we originally met through a mutual friend at our youth group at a church and would see each other at random friend get-togethers, etc. One of those times was last New Year’s Eve at a big party. We saw each other in the crowd and caught up for a few minutes (by yelling loudly… it was a loud party) and she mentioned her boyfriend. “Boyfriend? How long have you two been together?” A couple weeks, she answered, smiling excitedly. Fast forward to a month or so ago, when I received a message from Rachael saying “I’m engaged! And I want you to shoot my wedding!”
