I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
A week before my wedding, I received a pretty special email inquiry. Amanda’s wedding to her fiancé Tyler was a month away, their first wedding of two! They are having a destination wedding in Mexico in May with their closest family and friends but wanted to legally be wed in Canada a few weeks before. Tyler’s family flew in from Calgary on Easter Weekend to Amanda’s cousin’s cottage in Port Moody. We were hoping for sun (as brides and photographers do!) but we were rudely greeted with rain. A ton of rain. Pouring rain.
Jennifer emailed me a month ago inquiring about my availability for a Wednesday wedding in Stanley Park. It wouldn’t be my first Wednesday wedding, but after a phone call with Jennifer, I discovered it would be a different first: the smallest wedding to date. Jennifer and Bruno met through work almost seven years ago in Lake Louise. They’ve been together for five and a half years now, and live together as a family with Bruno’s two beautiful kids in Canmore. A few months ago, on a trip to Vancouver, Bruno took Jennifer on a walk through Stanley Park. He stopped on Third Beach (where these photos were taken!) and asked Jennifer to be his wife. She said yes.
as a teenager, i was involved with an awesome youth group that was full of incredible leaders. one of these leaders was a girl named amanda — and after i graduated and became a leader myself, we co-lead a small group for girls every week together. i remember those times so well. honestly, with a group of fifteen-year-old girls the biggest topic of discussion seemed to be boys [oh how confusing they were!] and dreaming up our future weddings. bahaha. a guy’s worst nightmare. but, of course, the girls and i especially loved to dream about what amanda’s wedding would be like someday — this girl has always had an eye for style and details.
