I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
Hi Friends! I’m starting a new series today, one I’ve wanted to start for months (well, technically, a year!) since our wedding day. Randy and I worked on a ton of Do-It-Yourselves projects over the course of our four-month engagement. I’m not the most crafty woman… but Randy’s a construction contractor so I figured we could figure out a lot of decor ourselves. We loved working on wedding projects together that winter and I’m thankful for an amazing fiancé (at the time, now husband!) who helped make my wedding dreams come true.
Yay! You’re married, you’re settling into your new life together, friends are starting to call you “Mrs. ‘New last name'” already and it’s exciting. But it’s not legal yet! Where does a new bride start in this confusing task called Changing Your Name After You’re Married?!
Happy Friday, everyone! This week has flown by in a flurry. I can’t believe how much stuff is going on lately! My wedding season officially kicks off this Sunday, Randy and I are going away Saturday to celebrate our first anniversary (tomorrow!) and it seems like engagement session season, down to the wire deadline with The School Sessions and household errands has me running every which direction!! I’m tired just typing that sentence. Good news is – it’s all good stuff and we’re having fun. Can’t for a moment say “We’re bored!” I photographed Kristina and Steven’s gorgeous backyard wedding this past summer on a beautiful day! I was also lucky enough to have their wedding featured on the Vancouver blog, Tutu and Fru, as well as PreOwned Wedding Dresses’ blog. When their final album came through the studio… I knew I needed to photograph it! ;) I love big spreads with big images! Outsourcing all of my album design to Post Partner (previously The Album Design) makes albums a breeze! Kristina’s rustic farm details were to-die for… love! And this FOOD!! Honestly – one of my favourite weddings last year. Such a fun vibe. Hope you enjoyed this look through one of my wedding albums! For photographers wondering, these are VisionArt albums and once again, album designed by Post Partner.
I sat on my bed crying, looking down at the diamond on my left hand. I had never seen a more beautiful ring. The perfect colour, the perfect size, the perfect engraving around the band. I loved this ring. I loved the man who gave it to me. And I loved our surprise proposal in our favourite coffee shop in one of our favourite little towns only two weeks before.
