Our Love Story
I bought my wedding dress 8 days after getting engaged and it was the 6th dress I tried on. My husband and I got engaged in the last week of November and planned a March wedding. Yes, 4 months later. I loved my wedding dress shopping experience and secretly, wish the shopping day had lasted longer. But I walked out having paid for my dream dress and don’t regret a thing.
But where and how do you start looking for a wedding dress? I evaluated my shopping experience and came up with 3 tips.
Writing your own vows is one of the best ways to personalize your wedding day! But writing your own vows is more difficult than it sounds. Where do I start? What should I say? How should I say it? How do I say it without crying? Well, I can help you with the first 3 questions. You’re on your own for the last one. We failed at #4.
With a short engagement, there were a few tasks I needed to be on right away. Inviting my bridesmaids to be my bridesmaids was one of those tasks! I had seen a few different ideas online and many were crazy-creative and over-the-top elaborate. My wedding planning style thus far has been “I want it to be pretty, and I don’t want to “settle” but I also don’t want to exhaust myself over little details no one will notice.” I was really happy with how this project turned out.
