Fort Langley Engagement Photos

Kenzie and Nate first met quickly on a Sunday morning, in between church services after being introduced by a mutual friend. Kenzie is the vocal director at our church and responsible for auditioning musicians who want to get involved in music, so Nate was introduced as a potential drummer. It wasn’t an instant connection–Kenzie was all business at first (atta girl) but the two slowly became friends and last October, started dating!

I got to know Kenzie a bit better when we traveled to Nepal together this past March on a volunteer team. We bonded over our similar (bold) personalities and I loved our conversations over the two week trip. We chatted a bit about Nate on the trip, but they were still a “newish” relationship back then… and I was curious to see what their future held. (And, because our personalities are similar I thought, “Six months of dating worked for us… maybe they will be the same.” Haha!)

Randy and I were thrilled when they told us last week about their engagement and upcoming wedding plans for early in the new year! Because their engagement is only three months or so (love those short engagements)–we wanted to get their photos done ASAP. :) Langley decided to give us the darkest afternoon yet… but these two are so happy together, the dark skies, rain and fog didn’t stand a chance.

Kenzie and Nate, thank you for letting me take your engagement photos!
