I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
Kristina & Steven’s wedding day was a dream to photograph. It’s always a good thing when you have a wedding you love come second on a double-header wedding weekend! Keeps me motivated! Although I had photographed Susan & Alfred’s wedding the day before in Vancouver, I woke up excited on Saturday about capturing Kristina & Steven’s day. Kristina was a referral from Mikaela Ruth, as originally she was booked to photograph their wedding day before she found out she was pregnant! (By the way, Mikaela had a beautiful, healthy boy named Isaiah two weeks ago.) I was delighted Mikaela chose to trust her clients to me.
Susan and Alfred’s wedding was a long time coming. I’ve had lots of past clients who have been together for 8, 9, 10 even 12 years before tying the knot… but Susan and Alfred have been together for 18 years. They met in high school while living in Vancouver and started dating then. However, Susan went onto study at University in Hong Kong in 200 and their relationship became a long distance one. They stayed strong through the distance between Vancouver and Hong Kong until eventually in 2008, Alfred moved his business to Macau. After eight years of long distance, together in the same place at last. Alfred asked Susan to be his wife and when she said “yes” they decided to return to Vancouver where their love began to get married. Their ceremony was held at the Van Dusen Botanical Garden and their reception at the beautiful Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
Writing your own vows is one of the best ways to personalize your wedding day! But writing your own vows is more difficult than it sounds. Where do I start? What should I say? How should I say it? How do I say it without crying? Well, I can help you with the first 3 questions. You’re on your own for the last one. We failed at #4.
Allison and Patrick’s wedding day last Saturday was a long one – almost 12 hours of coverage – but an incredible one. Over the course of their engagement, I’ve gotten to know Allison and Patrick a little bit better! Between their engagement session, our Facebook interactions and emails back and forth I can now call these two people friends! Even recently at my “Jamie Delaine Brides Nail Night,” Allison and I ended up sitting right next to one another. I so enjoyed hearing about the final two weeks of wedding plans and it’s surreal it’s all over.
