Okay, I’m back after a greeeeeat day off Thursday for my 23RD BIRTHDAY (yep!) and ready to blog Part 2 of Ashley and Grant’s God Mountain Estate wedding. The same day I blogged Part One I booked another wedding for 2014 at God’s Mountain. What a great birthday gift. ;) Can’t wait. Ashley and Grant and I ventured around the property for some more portraits before returning to their reception. Without a bridal party, we were able to keep the photo time to a minimum and let them return back to their guests.
The ceremony chairs were cleared away and a 4-course dinner was served on the back gravel, overlooking Skaha Lake. Loved Ashley’s idea for a guestbook – old records that she’s going to hang in her house. Joy Road Catering did a fabulous job on the food and ohhh the light during this entire relaxed dinner was divine.
After Ashley and Grant’s thank you speech, we snuck off for 5 minutes of portraits just as the sun set and before the cake cutting and first dance. And again, after the first dance, a few more portraits in their honeymoon suite “the roofless room.” So neat! A&G, what a gorgeous day. Thank you again for having me! Enjoy your photos!
