Happy Monday! I’m sitting at my desk listening to JohnnySwim’s new Christmas album (go buy it!), finishing up my second cup of green tea of the morning and snacking on some dark chocolate. It’s a beautiful and bright day outside my living room windows, the sun shining through a sparse orange-leaved tree on our front lawn. I pulled out my parka after breakfast for a walk with my mom and her dogs and have been rocking one of my knit headbands to keep my ears warm all morning. Happy winter! I love this season and everything it entails.
The last month has been a really busy family portrait season for me! I didn’t expect it – I photograph family portraits if requested but it’s not something I really “push” in my business. Always happy to shoot them though and the Carlsen family was one of my many sessions in October and November. We spent some time taking photos around Fort Langley and the Derby Reach area and love what we captured. When we took these photos, I was coughing and Alyssa had mono. I think that makes this the “sickest” session ever.
Enjoy! P.S. Michelle Carlsen is a great realtor and we also snuck in some headshots for her! Be sure to visit her website.
If you’re interested in a family session with Jamie Delaine, please email jamie@jamiedelaine.com for more information. Sessions are $600 and include one hour of shooting and high-resolution files. Available for sessions from Vancouver all the way out to Chilliwack – and select cities on Vancouver Island. Doesn’t hurt to ask!
