A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah & Jordan Hycroft Manor wedding photos. Although no wedding could ever be called “ordinary,” Sarah & Jordan’s day certainly was not ordinary. They chose to have a small wedding—in fact, the smallest wedding you could ever have. Only the bride and groom, officiant and two witnesses were present. Hycroft Manor was chosen as the perfect spot for their Tuesday afternoon wedding.
The beautiful light streamed in through the elegant windows at Sarah and Jordan pledged “forever” to one another, only seven months after their first date. In those seven eventful months, Sarah and Jordan had met online, spoken for a few weeks on the phone before meeting in person. They continued to date back and forth alternating weekends from B.C. to Alberta before Jordan moved to B.C. to be close to Sarah on April 10th and by May 1st, they were engaged and planning a July wedding. A whirlwind romance built on a foundation of trust and commitment, that grows by the day.
Sarah & Jordan, I was honoured to be your photographer and take part in such a special and intimate day in your lives! Thank you for trusting me with your memories, and enjoy your Hycroft Manor wedding photos below.
