Doris and Jimmy’s wedding day on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend began with preparations in the beautiful hotel rooms at Rosewood Hotel Georgia. I loved seeing all of Doris’ details come together: her stunning lace gown, pink and cream bouquet, crystal hairpiece and necklace, pink earrings (loved those so much!) and lace-trimmed veil. She was all smiles as she prepared for the day alongside her two bridesmaids. Doris’ long pink bridesmaids dresses were made by Doris’ mom and Doris made her own veil! Love a DIY bride!

Doris and Jimmy opted to see one another before their evening ceremony which allowed us plenty of time for beautiful photographs in the new fall colours around downtown Vancouver. We stopped for photos around Vancouver Art Gallery and the Vancouver Law Courts and I loved how the bridal party’s navy/blush hues popped against the locations!

Doris and Jimmy were all smiles and I loved spending time with them!

Of course, we had to scout out the best fall foliage we could find in a downtown area, without driving to a park! Hah! I’d say we did pretty well.

When a buzz of happy, excited guests arrived, after work on Friday, for the 6:30pm ceremony, Doris calmly walked down the aisle with her proud father. There’s nothing quite like this moment! :)

The Spanish Ballroom at Rosewood Hotel Georgia is hard to beat! Doris and Jimmy’s blush and cream florals and details came alive in the restored ballroom. All the soft candlelight was an added touch.
