Cecil Green Park House Wedding

Amber and Zack live in Seattle but chose to travel up to Vancouver for a destination wedding on Labour Day weekend! One of my favourite parts of their wedding was watching so many guests enjoy our beautiful city for the first time. Amber and Zack chose Cecil Green Park House as their wedding venue and it was an excellent choice! You can feel the fresh mountain air, see a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean and the whole UBC campus is stunning. I also love how Cecil Green Park House can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions – making the day run so smoothly!

Amber got ready for the day with her seven bridesmaids in the beautiful conservatory and adjacent ‘yellow room’ of Cecil Green. I loved the light in the room with the big, bright windows. Amber’s dress was stunning and photographed so well, especially on her, of course! Amber’s girls were so excited all day and I loved their energy and joy. They toasted with champagne in personalized monogramed glasses moments before Amber slipped into her dress for the First Look.

Congratulations, Amber and Zack! All the best to you both!

An amazing line-up of vendors made this day possible, see credits below! Special shout out to Erica McKeddie of Filosophi for her ridiculously great coordination and planning. Thank you, thank you. The First Look was pretty adorable. Zack was so excited to see his bride!

After some portraits around the Cecil Green Park House property, it was time for the five o’ clock ceremony to begin! Amber’s dad proudly walked her down the long steps of the house towards the altar.

I love how much Zack’s vows made Amber laugh. They were very heartfelt – but also hilarious.

These two share an amazing love, for sure! They’ve been together 10.5 years and know each other so well.

Before entering their sunset reception on the back porch of Cecil Green Park House, we snuck out for a few more bride and groom portraits at the front of the home.

The sun came out at the perfect time… this may be my favourite picture of the day!

The reception space was brilliant. (Scroll to bottom of post for vendors who made this happen!)

A sweetheart couch!? Yes. So good.
