Carrie and John met about ten years ago, when their teenage kids were playing football in the same community league. It wasn’t until four years later that sparks began to fly between the two of them! In the summer of 2012, they started dating and four years later, on the patio of their apartment over a glass of wine, John asked Carrie to be his wife.

I have so many wonderful things to say about these two, it’s hard to know where to begin. From the very first email I got from Carrie, she was easy to talk to and within hours of my email reply, Carrie said they were ready to put down a deposit and secure my photography for their wedding! Quite a few months went by, and we planned their engagement session for March.

From our meeting in Gastown, we wandered around the city on a *very* alive Friday night after work. I love the feel of Friday night in the city! Happy hours on every patio, people enjoying the Spring sunshine. It was a joy. Carrie and John, you know how excited I am to be there for your June wedding! See you in a few short months!
