A little over 4 years ago, Clara & Tristan met on Twitter for the first time. (It’s true.) Tristan’s sister, worked at Rogers Arena in Vancouver with Clara, and happened to “@reply” both of them with an introduction one night. The two starts texting and hours later, Tristan asked Clara out for a drink!

When Tristan walked in, he remembers Clara already sitting at the bar (even though he was early, too!) — and thinking she was even cuter in person. The two hit it off right away over drinks on Main Street and extended the evening hangout with a neighbourhood walk — not wanting to say goodbye!

I was so delighted to meet Clara & Tristan for their super fun unique helicopter session last week! The pair wanted an experience for their engagement session, something extra to really commemorate the occasion. This was the perfect fit + I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do this with them! (And to fly with my friend Bryce at SKY Helicopters.)

I hope you enjoy these photos! We laughed SO much taking them — the snow on top of the mountains was breathtaking, but the temperature was hovering at freezing. Add in windchill, and 2-3 feet of snow under our feet and everything was a challenge we couldn’t stop giggling through! Made for the best photos. :)
