I have been looking forward to Chelsea & Geoff‘s weddings since their first email. When I met them at their engagement session, my excitement was only multiplied. These two are sooo much fun together and they make photographing easy.
Chelsea got ready with her girls (and best friend Nathan) and her family at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver; my new favourite place to take getting ready photos, because it’s gorgeous. Geoff and Chelsea met for a First Look outside the Fairmont doors, before meeting their wedding party and traveling to Brock House Restaurant with the help of the Vancouver Trolley Company.
After portraits with their wedding party around the venue, it was time for the evening ceremony! Chelsea walked down the aisle on both of her parents arms, to a teary-eyed Geoff waiting under the chuppah. I loved their personalized vows, the smashing of the glass and the excitement on Chelsea and Geoff’s faces after they were pronounced husband and wife.
Following the ceremony, Chelsea and Geoff grabbed a glass of champagne and wandered down to Jericho Beach for sunset portraits and celebration. They are some of my favourite photos of the day. (Yay for sunset photos!)
The reception was decorated beautifully with florals from Garden Party Flowers, event rentals from Bespoke Decor, and coordination by Epic Events. The speeches were so fun to listen to; and after dinner, the dancing begun! Chelsea and Geoff shared their First Dance under the white tent, before running into Brock House for the hora. It was a great day, and I’m so excited to share these. Enjoy!
