Three and a half years ago, Jill was in Whistler for a weekend away with friends when her group of friends ran into Dana, out with his brother for his stag weekend. Jill said she was being “sassy” (haha!) to the guys and an argument started. Dana felt bad; so he hoped to find Jill again later in the night in the village to apologize. An hour later, he found her and apologize for the conflict–although Jill said, “I was the one who should have been apologizing!” Jill and Dana exchanged numbers and made plans for a breakfast date the next morning.
Unexpectedly, Dana had to leave suddenly to return to his out-of-town job, so he texted to apologize to Dana and offer a rain-check on the date! For the next two weeks, Jill and Dana texted every day while Dana was away for work until they could see each other again when Dana was back in the Vancouver area.
When they two met up for their first date, it was an instant connection. Loved meeting Jill & Dana for their engagement session in Langley earlier this week and meeting their two sweet pups, as well. :) Shortly after they started dating, Dana bought his dog Samson, and then one year for Jill’s birthday, they got Aurora, their other dog!
