Lucia and Nick met while they were still in high school through a mutual friend but it wasn’t until Lucia’s first year of University that they saw each other again. Lucia came home from school for a weekend, and went with her best friend to a party, where she saw Nick again! Nick was browsing through the music on Lucia’s phone, and ended up asking for her number. They texted a bit, but it wasn’t until another party a year later that they re-connected and started their romantic relationship.

Over the last 4.5 years of being together, Lucia & Nick have discovered so many unique connections. Both of their grandmothers knew one another, Nick’s family friends lived next door to Lucia’s childhood home (meaning they would have crossed paths as kids!) and they attended the same wedding as 8 and 9 years olds!

I met Lucia & Nick through Jennifer & Daniel’s wedding a couple summers ago, and I was excited to see them again when they came to help with the dogs at Jennifer & Daniel’s family session this year. I found out they were engaged when Lucia sent me a note following the session to ask about their engagement and wedding photography! So happy to be photographing their Christmas season wedding next December. :)

Okay, now onto a totally different, not sunny and warm summer vibe, but we made the best of the dreary, rainy, cold weather anyhow! Lucia + Nick, I hope you love your winter engagement session! Thanks for being up for anything and making the best out of the rain!
