Brad & Mel met two and a half years ago at the gym, and the pair hit it off right away. Mel noticed that Brad was kind and thoughtful and when he asked her out, she was super excited. Their first date was long, turning from appetizers and drinks to dinner and dessert, and they both knew they had something special from that first date.

Brad loves Mel’s heart, writing in his questionnaire, “Whether it be me, her family or mine, friends, etc, she is amazing at always being so considerate, happy, positive, and doing what she can to help others and make everyone a priority.”

Mel wrote that Brad is, “thoughtful, encouraging, supportive and respectful and that shows in the way he treats everyone.” She loves the way Brad treats her, and the people most important to them.

It was so wonderful to spend time with Brad and Mel on Thursday night at Ambleside Beach on what felt like the first day of Summer here in Vancouver (although I’m sure it’ll disappear for a few weeks.. haha!) – we had a gorgeous sunset, and it was so lovely to photograph them both.
