Ahh it was such a pleasure to work with Gioia and Tyler (and Gioia’s family again!) I photographed Gioia’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, and a few years before that, I photographed Gioia’s sister’s husband’s brother’s wedding. (Did you follow that? Haha!) The point is: there are a lot of connections in this friend and family circle and it’s always an honour to be invited into a wedding celebration.

Gioia and Tyler are so sweet, super easy going and made my job easy. They chose to keep the day as simple as they could—opting to skip a huge wedding party (they just had their sibling stand up with them) and choosing to capture their wedding portraits at their venue: Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club. They even rolled with the weather, which surprised us with dark skies and a bit of rain, but they took it all in stride and were just so happy to be married!

I truly enjoyed being a part of this day, and I hope to see Gioia and Tyler at future extended family weddings. Hahah!
