Marissa and Jonathan married in March 2020, just a few days before everything closed due to the pandemic. Although they had planned on having a traditional wedding celebration, they decided to cancel—but still went ahead with signing the papers as the date was important to them! About three years later, the couple welcomed their first daughter and set about finally celebrating their marriage with a celebration in Summer 2023.

Rather than have a photographer at their reception last Summer, Marissa and Jonathan asked me to take portraits of them before they went to their celebration! These photos below were taken at Deer Lake Park in June just a few hours before their reception.
