Michelle and Shaw had a beautiful wedding day on September 16 at West Point Grey Baptist Church and Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club. As I showed up to Michelle’s home for the tea ceremony, the “Door Games” were just finishing. Shaw and his groomsmen conquered the games, and Shaw was able to see his bride! Michelle and Shaw showed respect to their family with a tea ceremony, and then it was off to the church to say “I do” in front of 100 family and friends.

The afternoon had gorgeous light for portraits in Pacific Spirit Park, which is one of my favourite places to photograph wedding party/bride and groom portraits. Michelle and Shaw set aside more time for portraits at Mayfair Lakes, which was so lovely, before celebrating their union with a reception in the Lakeside Grill room at the golf course.
