Van and Niem celebrated their love with a ceremony and dinner at Brix & Mortar with only their immediate families. Their wedding week brought a cold snap to Vancouver, and we were all grateful and relieved when the weather “warmed up” to -2 degrees for the afternoon portraits. (Much improved from the -15 just a day or two earlier!)

But one of the most wonderful things about having your wedding at Brix & Mortar is the covered courtyard space, with plentiful heaters—it’s a great choice for winter weddings. Van and Niem, I’m wishing you continued joy and love in the future together. Thank you for having me as your photographer!
