My Vancouver mini-sessions are a relatively new offering of mine in the last couple years… and Ashley and James’ family was one of the first clients to book with me for my April 2023 mini-sessions! Their son was just a baby at the time, and I remember my assistant and I giggling so much as we played a song on Spotify that he delightfully danced along to as I photographed. 

It was lovely to hear from Ashley again this year about booking a ‘full’ portrait session (about 1 hour in length, versus the 15 minute mini-session time frame) with her immediate family, of course, but also James’ parents! Their son gave us all a run for our money this evening… he did not want to stay still at all, but with five adults pulling out all their best moves, we managed to capture the following joyful photos anyhow! Always love a tiny client that keeps me on my toes, and helps me get in a cardio workout while I’m at it. :) Heheh.
