The C. Family booked their session at Crescent Park in South Surrey with just 36 hours’ notice… a new record for me! Most of their family lives in Vancouver, but a few live in Calgary, and they wanted to capture photos for their mom’s 70th birthday! I enjoyed photographing their family all together in the forest at Crescent Park in South Surrey.

Then, just about a week later, I ran into the grandparents at an event at a local church… which was a surprise! I went up and asked them how they were connected, and it turns out that Ron had worked alongside my mom at a church in Vancouver over 40 years ago! Neither of us realized the connection at the time of their family session. It was a fun coincidence and a reminder of how small the world/Vancouver can be. :)
