Dylan and Roberta’s story started on a dating app back in 2018, though Roberta originally downloaded it just to make friends. After months of messaging, they finally met in person, with Roberta traveling every weekend from Squamish to North Vancouver! Their first date included a walk at the Cleveland Dam, lunch, and a video game session—Roberta had never played before, but she jumped in wholeheartedly… and she’s a big video game fan today! From that weekend on, they started seeing each other every week.

Later that year, Roberta had to return to Italy when her visa expired, but she came back in January 2019 to continue her studies. During a difficult time with her host family, Dylan and his family welcomed her into their home, making her feel at home in a new city. From there, their relationship kept growing, full of laughter, support, and shared adventures. Now, years later, they got engaged and celebrated with a session at Pacific Spirit Park, capturing the easy connection and fun that has always been at the heart of their relationship.
